Sumer is here and it’s slay season. Time to turn heads, own the room, and feel so damn good in your body. June is our glow-up checkpoint. Half the year’s behind us, and the best is just getting started.This is your moment to breathe deeplymove boldly, and seduce your strength back to the surface. Whether you’re meditating, dancing, or strutting in heels—every ritual this month is a celebration of your radiance. And this month, confidence took on a whole new meaning for me. My 4-year-old daughter, Malaya, had her very first dance recital. I was nervous for her—she had to wait backstage for hours and perform in front of hundreds of people. But you know what? She was so sure of herself. She had practiced at home, dancing on her own with joy and focus. Watching her hold herself with pride on that stage reminded me that confidence isn’t something we wait for—it’s something we choose. Her song was called â€œI’m a Star”, and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about these lyrics:

“It’s all quite revelatory We are our own origin story You don’t have to look too hard It’s all around and not too far If you’re try’na figure out just who you are— You’re a star!”
