Of course we have one of our own in the mix. One of my personal faves is Ashley’s choreography to Creep by TLC. What I love about this is it’s easy to learn but it also burns where it counts. You workout your legs and your core when you do the Creep or when you Kick It Out. Ashley really stays true to that old school vibe and makes you want to keep groovin’. What I love about old school hip hop is how easy it is to get lost in the groove and you can really find your own rhythm in it. DANCEMOB’s WTF by Missy Elliot
We’re kicking it off with an easy hip hop choreography by the DanceMob. Practice your best hip hop poses and grooves with the squad. This routine will unleash your hip hop attitude with Side to Side Slides, Body Rolls and Pops. Minx is a great teacher because she funny and she tries to make the moves relatable so it’s easy to remember. Lyrical and hip hop? Yes, they’re a wonderful combination and Shape of You is a good song for it because it’s a little bit hip hop and little bit lyrical. This routine is both graceful and strong and kudos to Viet for mixing the perfect balance of the two. In this style of hip hop, you definitely use your whole body which makes it a great source of fitness. If you’re curious about Lyrical Hip Hop, try it out, you might just fall in love with it.

JJ Dancer’s My Type by Saweetie
Want a challenge? JJ Dancer will give you a hip hop choreography that will make you sweat and challenge your choreo skills. Don’t worry, we also included modifications for this choreo because I was 4 months pregnant when we shot this dance. So if I can do it, you can too! My favorite move is the foot drag to the body roll. JJ is a total fitness inspo and I’m so grateful to be able to dance with her.
Advanced New Hip Hop
