Belly Dance Trance is coming to Hip Shake Fitness soon. We were back at The Beat Box Studio for another 10 hour shoot, half of which was dedicated to Belly Dance Trance with Jacqui Wong. Let’s go back in time and shimmy through our behind the scenes of our Belly Dance Trance shoot day.
Belly Dance Trance Level 1
Summer is almost over, but we’re turning up the heat at The Beat Box Studios with our Belly Dance Trance series shoot. We were joined by the lovely Jacqui, your instructor, and of course our dancers Marta and Ana. I always emphasis how lucky we are to have women who are down to try something new, but it’s true, without them we wouldn’t have these amazing videos. Ana is a beginner Belly Dancer who rocked it for all THREE levels while Marta is a pro- and you’ll get to see that in the workout videos.

Belly Dance Trance is Lit
In level 2, there were a lot more shimmies and intricate hand movements. Yes, it was mesmerizing to watch. We also have the best crew during Hip Shake Fitness shoots like our founder, Charlene, who beams with positive energy and dances with the workout behind the camera. My favorite part about level 2 besides the hand movements are the color combinations of our dancers outfits. It reminded me of Ariel from The Little Mermaid– check out the photos below!

Belly Dance Trance Level 3
We’re not called Hip Shake Fitness for nothing and Belly Dance Trance level 3 makes your hips WORK. Jacqui definitely up the difficulty in level 3 and added some turns and more leg and arm combinations. This was Jacqui’s first ever shoot with us and we’re so grateful and honored to have her. As someone who doesn’t have any Belly Dancing experience, I’m very excited to try this series out and we hope you are too!
